The eLearning is the first step in becoming an Advanced Open Water Diver.
PADI eLearning makes it easy to fit scuba lessons into a busy schedule. Learn about scuba diving principles and terminology whenever, wherever it's convenient for you.
It's your course on your time.
Study offline, or online using a computer or mobile device. Connect with your instructor whenever you have a question.

Advanced Open Water Dives
The Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about building confidence and expanding your dive skills through five adventure dives. You'll complete two core dives—Deep and Underwater Navigation—and three electives based on your interests.
It’s like a specialty sample platter, and each dive can count toward a corresponding PADI Specialty course.
The Advanced Open Water Diver certification qualifies you to dive independently (with a buddy) to a depth of
- Up to 30 meters / 100 feet (for adults) -
- Up to 21 meters / 70 feet (for juniors) -
